Will there ever be a second Miiverse server since nintendo is ending Miiverse? I was thinking maybe it would be possible by changing your DNS settings.
Although some of us are using the DNS settings to block updates, so how would it work?

Is it possible or will it be with homebrew to upload Mario Kart 8 replays to YouTube after Miiverse ended? It was possible to upload a video only to YouTube, I don't see why they would remove it.

hi ,
as the question says is this possible to unlink NNID from one wii u and then use the same NNID on a different console .
2)will i have to factory reset the console to do it .
3)in the wii u setting menu there is an option to delete the NNID ,if i delete it from the first wii u can i then link it to the new wii u console ,so that i can keep all the downloaded content ..

Can I log in to my Nintendo ID on my modded Wii U? Is it a more risk of a ban? I have linked my Nintendo ID to my modded 3DS before but I'm not sure if it would be the same as a Wii U.

Ok, so I was watching a video on Game & Wario's Miiverse Sketch feature, and I for some unknown reason, am compelled to restore it. I don't have a Wii U, but if I could somehow make a server and anyone would want to test it out... I'm completely open for requests.

I know Miiverse is just overall a joke to everyone, but I feel that it would be a fun project to try to restore (doesn't mean it would be easy though).

PS: If anyone wants to do this, then it would be nice to know some good...

Hi all, I have just gotten a pass me down WII U console. As I am new, how do I create a NNID account to play online now that I am unable to do it due to the 9th Nov server shutdown. It is mod version 5.5.1 firmware. Thanks in advance

Reset Wii U with parental control and user with password

Hello,
I got a Wii U with a user with a password which I don't know.
When I try to add a new user it asks for a parental control pin which I also don't know.

Is there any way to reset the Wii U?
The old owner don't remember the password neither the parental control pin, he can change the password on the web page but I can't access the options to setup a wifi or remove the parental control...:rofl2:

Still can't figure out what's wrong with my internet

Ever since I bought my Wii U, I haven't been able to connect to the internet at my place. If I have the IP Address set to Auto-Obtain, it doesn't even connect to the router/modem. So following some advice I found online, I turned it off and changed the IP Address to 192.168.000.011, the Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.000, and the Gateway to 192.168.000.001. With it set up like that, it's been able to connect to the "network device", but it still can't get on the internet.

The internet works...

Still can't figure out what's wrong with my internet

I have a question, Wii U YouTube got like two updates on Wii U... I remember with the previous version of YouTube I was able to Watch video and search at the same time without interrupting the actual reproductions....

My question is:

Is there a way to install different versions of YouTube? Or can we install an older version of YT and try to modify the XML for to the newer version?

Hello, 1st thread here.

I bought a wii u used the other day. I would like to format it, but as I understand just simply formatting the system will not unlink the nnid.

It says to delete the user, but I need a password, am I sol or is there a way to get it done?

I have contacted seller but I don't know how they feel lending me a password for this.

I would just like to make it my own.

Hi,

I bought a used Wii U and can't access to the Parental Controls Menu to obtain the inquiry numer and get master key. Only options i have is to login on last owner account (i don't have password) or add new one, but when i try to make new account it ask me to give the parental code. On other post's i read that you need to go to the Parental Menu and click "i forget" or something like that but i don't see anything like that.
